As per last update in September 2021, here is a list of some of the tallest individuals in recorded history. Please note that there may have been changes or new additions to this list since then:-


1. Robert Wadlow:- Robert Wadlow, also known as the "Alton Giant" or "Giant of Illinois," is considered the tallest person in recorded history. He reached a height of 8 feet 11 inches (2.72 meters) before his death at the age of 22 in 1940.


2. Zeng Jinlian:- Zeng Jinlian was a Chinese woman who, at her death in 1982, held the title of the tallest woman ever recorded. She reached a height of 8 feet 1 inch (2.46 meters).


3. Leonid Stadnyk:- Leonid Stadnyk, a Ukrainian man, claimed to be the world's tallest living person until his death in 2008. His height was measured at 8 feet 5.5 inches (2.57 meters).


4. Sultan Kösen:- Sultan Kösen from Turkey held the Guinness World Record for the world's tallest living person as of my last update in 2021. His height was measured at 8 feet 2.8 inches (2.51 meters).


5. Bao Xishun:- Bao Xishun, a Mongolian herdsman, held the Guinness World Record for the world's tallest living man before Sultan Kösen. His height was recorded at 7 feet 8.95 inches (2.36 meters).


6. Don Koehler:- Don Koehler, an American who passed away in 1981, was known for his height of 8 feet 2.5 inches (2.50 meters).


7. Yao Ming:- Yao Ming, a former professional basketball player from China, stood at 7 feet 6 inches (2.29 meters). While not one of the tallest individuals in history, he achieved fame as an NBA player.
